We’ve been asked today to list 10-15 games companies and/or VFX studios, give some basic details about them and show where I would fit into the company and what I could offer them.

What we have to list is;

  • When they were founded
  • Who own them and do they have partner companies
  • What games and/or movies did they produce
  • What can I offer them
  • Who produced and made my favourite games

Then;

  • What experience are they looking for to be able to work for them – so if they have any special requirements
  • What roles are there available in the company
  • Where would I fit into the company

Yeesh, I hate talking about myself like this. Anyway, here’s the start of that list. I’ve tweaked it, deleted parts and re-wrote others since I’m not entirely sure how I want to publish it.

I’m not really sure what I can offer them either since I’m just learning how to do this (everything on this course is new to me) and I’m no where near skilled enough to approach any of these asking for a job.

So, the list. And in no particular order…except Nintendo first because they’re amazing. And the best.

And no that is not up for discussion.

Now, talking about myself…that’s for another time. When I’ve found my niche and I know what I can do well.
